SAIC Awarded $19 Million Task Order to Support the U.S. Air Force Cryptographic Community
Company to Provide Software Development and Sustainment Services in Support of Secure Command, Control, and Intelligence Requirements

Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) (NYSE: SAI) today announced it has been awarded a task order by the General Services Administration (GSA) Greater Southwest Region to provide software development and sustainment support of the U.S. Air Force. The task order has a one year base period of performance, three one-year options and a total value of more than $19 million. Work will be performed primarily in San Diego, Calif.

The task order was awarded under GSA's Alliant government-wide acquisition contract and requires SAIC to develop and enhance electronic key management system (EKMS) software products related to COMSEC (communications security) encryption.

"SAIC is committed to assisting the U.S. Air Force Cryptographic Community as they continue to provide warfighters, government agencies, and allied nations with the encrypted communications capabilities they need," said Larry Cox, SAIC senior vice president and business unit general manager. "We look forward to helping them continue to integrate evolving technology into their critical voice and data communications systems."
